Bequests

A bequest is the simplest and easiest way to donate money or property to your parish or the Archdiocese in your estate plan. Making a bequest is as easy as expressing your wishes to your parish or the Archdiocese designating an amount of money or a particular asset from your estate upon your death. A bequest is often the best method of estate charitable giving when there are not appreciated assets or when those assets have a better usage. A simple bequest can still give the tax advantages of an estate gift, without complicated gift structures.

As a part of an estate plan, a bequest can provide the peace of mind of knowing that your family and loved ones are taken care of while also ensuring the future of your parish or a favorite ministry. For more information about providing a gift to your parish or the Archdiocese through a bequest, please contact the Office of Development.
