The Office of Development, in conjunction with parishes throughout the Archdiocese, sponsors Planned Giving Seminars throughout the year. These seminars are led by local Estate Planning attorneys. The seminars are a great way to gain up-to-date and trustworthy information about Planned Giving.
If you would like to be notified when a Planned Giving seminar is occurring in your area, please email development@sfarchdiocese.org or call the Office of Development at (415) 614.5580 with your contact information.
Estate Planning Seminars:
Reducing estate taxes, avoiding probate, and providing for heirs will be among the topics treated at our estate planning seminars. The free seminar topics will include life support systems and your legal rights, saving taxes when selling stock or real estate, probate, wills life income plans, and other crucial estate planning issues. With the present tax reforms of individual estate tax exemptions and the decrease of the maximum gift tax, there are changes occurring that you need to hear for your Estate Plan. We will be announcing Estate Planning Seminars for the Fall in the near future, so come back in upcoming weeks for more details.
Note: Seminars sponsored by the Archdiocese of San Francisco and your local parish are for informational purposes only. We recommend you contact a local attorney specializing in estate planning for information regarding your particular situation or to make changes to your current estate documents.
